Can anyone point me to a preferred XML parser for python? I am writing chunk of the DOCSIS dissector in XML. I'd like to use Python to parse the XML file and create the C dissector at compile time. I have come across xml.parsers.expat and xmllib. I'd like to write this to the lowest common denominator so I'd really appreciate any assistance in this regard.
