There will be a much better way to do this soon. I have reasonably well working versions of a full kerberos rewrite and asn.1/ber helper dissectors waiting to be test-checked in after then next release so they get time for testing and cooking. These changes will dissect everything "better" and amke it much easier to these kind of changes without resorting to memcpy()s.
