Yes, this string being auto-created when the entry is blank is probably not a good 
idea, particularly since this file isn't distributed with Ethereal.

Otherwise, the method of detecting that the file is there and that the error should be 
reported is still faulty, as is the auto-generation of the string (again, not 
multi-platform friendly).

Did anyone ever determine where default.tt is supposed to come from in the first 
place?  I don't believe anyone knew the last time I asked.
