However, some questions remain:

a) We might want to change the "Host List" also to "Endpoint List", as

Yes, an endpoint at the IP layer is defined by an IP address. A host 
can have multiple.
So I'm voting for "Endpoint List" only. Same applies to the other 
protocols.
b) We might also want to change the "IO" item name to something more 
descriptive, like: "Throughput"?!
It is a quite general tool, not only restricted to Throughput. Maybe 
"Protocol Statistics"?
Maybe someone has a better idea.
