In short two ways
1. use tethereal.
2. (on Windows) Install the Generic/Text-Only printer to print to FILE
and use that.

(That's Manufacturer=Generic, Type=Text-Only)

Sorry if this question has all ready been posted.  I am new here so be 
patient I am trying to simply save the file as a plain text file to be 
viewed with any old text editor.  I have tried the print to file way and

still seems to be formatted.  Any help out there
