Hi Florian,
Thanks for your reply.
I have ported a RTL8168 driver for EtherLab on kernel-2.6.23.Now it can run.
I want to use EtherLab on standard linux kernel with .
Because EtherLab_RTW need RTAI,so I just use EtherCAT master.
Therefore I think that I need implement a configuration tool by myself on
statndard linux kernel.
I hope the tool can simply import slave's xml file and configure EtherCAT
network.

Best regards,
Li.peng

sure, it should be possible to write an EtherCAT-capable Ethernet driver
for any hardware.

I personally tested several Hilscher slaves successfully with a Hilscher
developer on the last EtherCAT Plugfest.

Apart from that, it should be possible to use *any* slave with the IgH
EtherCAT master. If not, please let me know.

Do you just want to use the EtherCAT master, or other EtherLab
components, too?
