I'm interested in configuring and developing EtherCAT based systems. I'm newbie in this so my question is: What is the best Linux distribution for Etherlab system realization? I started with the Slackware 11 because it offers most features for kernel configuration but I wonder if there will be the problems and have you tested your system with other Linux distribution?
