I have it there as well. Hmmm.... > I run; > configure --enable-tty \ > --enable-static=no \ > --disable-8139too \ > --disable-generic \ > --with-linux-dir=/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.46-0.12->obj/x86_64/default > > make Ok, I did this, except with the final argument being --with-linux-dir=/usr/src/linux-2.6.16.21-0.25-obj/i586/default and it finished the same way (config.status: executing depfiles commands). I then just typed 'make' and I didn't see any problems. As a matter of fact, I got a lot of "Nothing to be done for..." messages. I'll assume all is well. > Then build the modules. Now I'm confused. In the INSTALL file there are a bunch of other commands, like 'make all modules' and 'depmod' and 'ln -s ...' and such. Do I not need those? All I want to do is run an etherCat master....
