the IEC 61158-x-12 standard contains in standardization papers the
specification " Type 12: EtherCAT" Is "EtherCAT here a registered
trade mark? Or is it just the name of the protocol?
EtherCAT is a trademark and thus it appears as "type 12" in the IEC
specification.
Registered at the DPMA are the word marks "ETHERCAT" and "Ethercat".
The "EtherCAT" standard shows in the title "type 12: EtherCAT"
Simply confusing .... adding the R-symbol to "EtherCAT" seems not be
correct?
