So, I think I found the answer to my question. It appears that release tags are not used. Instead, configure.ac is updated and checked in with a comment containing the version number.
Anyway, I have a followup question. I am making modifications to the code, mostly to add features I want. Is there a procedure for submitting my changes back to the main repository? Thanks, Steven From: Steven Hartmann <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Date: Wednesday, March 12, 2014 11:04 AM To: Etherlab Users <[email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>> Subject: [etherlab-users] Version tags Today I was just curious to see what, if any, changes had been committed since the 1.5.2 release. I cloned the mercurial repository, switched over the the stable-1.5 branch and looked for tags. There seems to be only one tag in that branch: version-1.3.2. So, my question is: Are releases tagged? Am I missing something? I have exactly no prior experience with mercurial, so ignorance on my part is a definite possibility. Thanks, Steven
