Hi All

I've been working on a new standard installation for our machines, and one of the boxes I'm testing is a DIN rail unit with three Ethernet, two igb port and one igc port.

During my testing I tried the igb and igc for the EtherCAT interface and found that the igc can transmit much faster than the igb has datagram UNMATCHED! messages even at 1000 packets per second.

The igc can do 4000 packets without any of these messages, and very few at 8000 packets.

I'm using a 6.6.11 kernel with  PREEMPT_DYNAMIC and the driver packages provided from https://mirrorcache-au.opensuse.org/repositories/science:/EtherLab/Debian_12/

Any ideas?

Mike
