Hi,
I'm thinking about a style class that is totally dynamic.
Something like CSS. Can be parented. Allow them to
be nested as a tree of suggestion for fonts, colors, timezone,
trends, taste or whatever. A style may contain any possible
informations
that will be treated like general suggestions. So I can use it
to control general looks of applications. Such class should be
fully supporting dynamic dispatching so I don't have to declare
- (void) setCowboyHatColor:(id)aCow; or - (id) cowboyHatColor;
(which many only return nil) any where.
Is this kind of class available somewhere.
Hi Banlu,
I'm not aware of such class that would be already written.
Though I'm not sure what it would resemble precisely.
If I'm understanding correctly what you mean by this 'style class', I
think it could be truly useful to handle UI layout (when view
components are involved especially), right ? Are you envisioning any
other uses ?
I would be interested to know more about your idea… with more details
and few concrete examples. :-)
Cheers,
Quentin.
