It's likely that your problem is caused by an NSSortDescriptor bug in GNUstep which a recent change in EtoileMenuServer uncovered. See http://altair.dcs.elf.stuba.sk/~diablos/patches for the patch and please let me know if it worked for you. If not, please make a debug version and send me a GDB backtrace.

Well, i've been playing and reading the source of some Etoile components, but after updating to the latest svn version, I have this problem when trying to run EtoileMenuServer: $ openapp EtoileMenuServer 2006-05-13 17:50:38.707 EtoileMenuServer[8945] Loading 1 user defined AppKit bundles 2006-05-13 17:50:38.708 EtoileMenuServer[8945] Loaded '/Library/Bundles/EtoileMenus.bundle' Segmentation fault $ and this arises the question... what's the etoile-compliant directory scheme? So far, I've not seen a common setup. This is my system: - Linux distro: Ubuntu dapper - GNUstep compiled from sources (gnustep-back-0.10.3, gnustep-base-1.12.0, gnustep-gui-0.10.3, gnustep-make-1.12.0, gnustep-startup-0.15.1) - Etoile svn trunk I made a symbolic link: /Library -> /usr/lib/GNUstep/System/Library, and /Applications -> /usr/lib/GNUstep/System/Applications Is this ok? -- rolando -- [[ knowledge is empty, fill it ]] -- "Tam pro papa quam pro rege bibunt omnes sine lege."
