I think as long as Grr, RSSKit and DictionaryReader are still in Etoile, or more specifically, in -stable branch, it will be maintained and update to latest GNUstep. While it does not prevent people from maintaining it in another repository, I personally would like to ask whether you have interest to change the license of Grr and DictionaryReader into a more flexible one, say BSD or MIT ? DictionaryReader has potentials to be used in Dashboard-style widget. Architecture of Grr is interesting enough that it can be used in other project. A more flexible license will make it easier for these to happen. On the other hand, once more people contribute their code in GPL'd Grr and DictionaryReader, it will be harder to change the license. In the future, you may want to reuse part of the Grr and DictionaryReader in your close source project. If people contribute to Grr and DictionaryReader, you will need to get their permission to use them in close source projects. In any case, it is your decision to make. GPL and LGPL is fine for current situation. I just think in advance for the future potentials. Good luck for your study.
