Is there any sensible reason ukrun depends on AppKit, and hence X11? I want to run unit tests for a few things on a headless system (and later run them unattended and have it email me the results periodically) and it's a pain to have to SSH in with X forwarding set up just so something that doesn't have a GUI will work.
