My only objection to these two points is I would rather prefer to
have all frameworks put under permissive licenses like MIT, BSD, ISC,
public domain etc.
The main reason is to allow merging, branching and moving code
between frameworks without encountering any license conflicts that
involve to ask copyright holders about relicensing. I think that's
important because Étoilé architecture will probably still evolve a
lot until 0.5 and may see other major changes later (beyond 1.0 :-).
That's why there has been recent move towards relicensing frameworks
like IconKit from LGPL to BSD/MIT.

Aside of that, I'm perfectly fine with the use of LGPL for
applications and small frameworks which are linked by a limited
subset of applications/components.
If someone really wants to put a more important framework under LGPL,
I would say it can be discussed and accepted on case-by-case.

ok.

Cheers,
Quentin.
