Hello.

At the moment Étoilé status is for devs, so if you want yo run it is a your experiment.
However I run an ET/Gnustep hybrid enviroment, what you need:

- A window manager (I use windowmaker)
- You have to do some modifications to the autostart windowmaker script, putting inside "etoile_system"

This should be sufficient to run the ET enviroment, but you will not do much more.
I put here mu autostart

etoile &
openapp /usr/GNUstep/Local/Applications/GWorkspace.app &
trayer --width 4 --expand true &
nm-applet &
dropbox start -i &

Hello,

I have just built Etoile under Ubuntu 12.04 Desktop. But, how am I supposed to run it?

I tried running EtoileMenuServer, and then running an application like Typewriter. However, Typewriter's menu does not appear in the EtoileMenuServer bar at the top of the screen.

How should I proceed? Is the a proper procedure I should be using for starting up Etoile? I'm having trouble finding it on the website.

Thank you,
Patryk
