Thanks for checking :)
There's a couple of things to work out anyway; as an example,
EtoileWildMenu should probably be LGPL, not GPL, as it is a bundle
loaded by applications. If we stick with our current policy of
favorising LGPL/BSD over GPL, it could be good to pass MenuServer in
LGPL, just to be safe (even if it does not link to applications so
it's still technically ok in GPL..). Likely the same for the
MenuServer plugins or the various kits: we should pass them in LGPL
where we can (probably difficult for PopplerKit). Thoughts?
I think I made a mistake: EtoileWildMenu is LGPL2, not GP2
because it is modified from WildMenu, which is LGPL2.
WorkspaceSwitcher is GPL2 because it is modified from the clock menulet
of MenuServer, which is GPL2.
But I am thinking to remove it from repository in favor of AZDock.
The same for SQLiteClient in favor of SQLClient in GNUstep.
And I see no use of WildMenu so far.
Maybe we can remove it in favor of EtoileWildMenu ?
PopplerKit has to be GPL2 because of xpdf is GPL2.
The rest depends on the copyright holder.
Maybe we can have a guideline that
bundles/frameworks/libraries must be LGPL2/BSD/Apache2
and services can be LGPL2/BSD/Apache2/GPL2
unless there is a reason not to (like PopplerKit).
It is better for us to have the desired license in place sooner than later.
