Günther brought up a really good point about some of the new icons
that I've added in.
We currently have three icons that have somewhat similar purposes:
- Stop
- Cancel
- Delete
As representations, Stop is a stop sign (octagon), Cancel is an X,
and Delete is a 'no' sign (circle with slash).
Now, thinking about the original icon request list, the Stop icon
should maybe be a square (as it is listed in connection with Play/
Pause icons) for use in a Media Player app.
Delete (as Günther suggested), should maybe be represented by
something more obvious, such as a trash can.
Cancel, thus, could be any of the currently used icons for the three
symbols (stop sign, x, or circle/slash). Günther suggested the Stop
sign, as this is what NeXT used.
Does anyone have any comments about transitioning the icons like this?
