... do you think that there would be any use of this kind of
application in Etoile?
(For better imagination, see the StepTalking screenshots and add
buddy list and environment radar there :-)
My goal was to have live 'assistants':
- each specialised for certain kind of task
- holding its state (may be stored and restored)
- clonable (clone assistant and change behaviour)
- able to migrate to another machine (just take (movable portion of)
state of stenvironment and move it)
- changeable behaviour during runtime (just change methods of objects
- actors in the environment)
Besides other things it can be used for prototyping servers as well...
The name can be: StepTalk Environments or StepTalk Assistants or
StepTalk Servers or StepTalk Agents or StepTalk Actors.app.
