As far as I understand it, this doesn't contradict. An efficient implementation of a sieve project will anyway store the current filtered list of objects. When a user drops something on a project, the project could automatically annotate its own tag to the object. It's not really needed, but it'll unify the access to the objects' attributes. In my opinion, he recent discussions about projects, tags and so on got very confusing. Any ideas on how to organise this chaos of ideas? I guess "Design by comitee" doesn't work too good via the mailing list. Maybe someone who was at the FOSDEM can clear things up a bit and write a specification that covers issues like tagging, projects and objects? Please let's also find a common terminology for things. I think projects and tags are mostly clear, but when it comes to objects, files and documents, things start to get blurry for me. I'm afraid discussions like these stay fruitless unless we have a common ground to build upon. -Günther _______________________________________________ Etoile-discuss mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/etoile-discuss
