I quickly port macosxterm[1]. It is under MIT license.
I guess it can be a start considering
we don't really have a lot of choices to start with.
(Terminal.app and iTerm is under GPL.
 PuTTY has too much codes to start with.
 libzvt is under LGPL/GPL. and use gtk).
I only test it on Mac with gnustep-make.
It should be easy to fix on Unix since it is very small.

Two main issues I can foresee :
1. Portability. Not sure all unix-like system has the same system call
for tty. (opentty, forktty, etc).
2. Text system. Need to have text displayed properly (color, blink
cursor, fix font size, layout, CJK, i18n, etc).

Is there anyone interested to work on it ?
