Here is my plan after 0.2:
  1. Improve Azalea, AZDock, AZBackground, AZSwitcher,
      and probably ServerMenulet.
They are all working, but not perfect.
We also need to clear the role of each application.
For example, AZDock can track crashed application
throught X window. It may be helpful for System
      or other applications.
They won't have any eye candy, though.
I can only work on them when I reboot into Linux.
So unless I can get a new i386 machine months later,
      it will be slow progress.

Another group of system applications may need
      some improvement:
      MenuServer, EtoileWildMenu, Camaelon and System.
They are all working, but not perfect.
We need a more clear roles among these applications.
For example, both AZDock and System are
      tracking applications.
Both AZDock and MenuServer try to manage applications.
Azalea should have a theme which fits with Camaelon.

  2. Have a prototype for general collection manager
like file manager, music manager, photo manager,
      address book, etc.
It will involve CollectionKit, BookmarkKit and OuterSpace.
I would like to finish these features:
      Smart group
Share data as iTunes (or future Finder in 10.5).
Automatically organize files with metadata (iTunes manage music
files with album, artist and song name. iPhotos manage photos with
date, etc).
I can work on them with Cocoa.
So it will be faster, but a lot work has to be done.

  3. I probably won't have a lot of them on these projects,
but I really like to have them work to some extent:
      TermX: terminal emulator
Babbler: a multimedia player using mplayer
LuceneKit: it is about one-year behind Apache Lucene.

If you want to help, you can pick any project you like.
  Here are my suggestion:
  1. Improve Typewriter.
It may involve in Font Manager and OgreKit (regex library),
Hopefully the text system improvement from SoC
      will also help you.
You can take a look at TextEdit in Backbone project
      and Ink.app from GNUstep.
ProjectManager may also provide you some insight
      about ruler and syntax highlighter.
I think Saso won't mind to re-license them in BSD if you ask.
There are also many text editors based on Cocoa.
You may or may not want to have a rich text
editor (Typewriter) and a plain text editor for programming.
There is a CodeEditor in -trunk now,
but you can write your own.
There is no reason to use it unless you think it is a good start.

  2. RSSKit and Grr need maintainer.
I think it is worth to have a good RSS reader for Etoile.
I would say it is as important as mail client (GNUMail),
web browser (none) and instant messenger (StepChat).
By the way, I would like to have RSSKit in BSD or MIT.
I think Günther Noack won't mind if you ask.
He does agree to change license for many of his work.
      It is really appreciated.

  3. Vindaloo and PopplerKit need maintainer.
      Besides keeping them up-to-date,
you may turn Vindaloo into a more general previewer
and have limited editing function like Preview on Mac.
If you can have a framework generating preview image
      from any format,
it will be helpful for our object manager or file manager.

  Have fun !!
