At first, as you unsterstood I would like to join in this project.
Secondlly, I wrote at you because my skills are "artistical". In
fact I like to draw, make designs and create web sites.
So I wrote to you because you are the person who design and draw
things for this project.
Explained why I decided to contact you, I want to close my message
asking you something like:
Is possible to partecipate? Can you help me to contact the
maintainer of this project (that I don't know who is)?
Do you like the idea of a partecipation of me in this sense?
Sure -- our next release, 0.3, is going to focus on the UI and trying
to polish the visual part. This includes doing some bug fixing on the
theme (called Narcissus), adding a new system font (called Ikarus --
I have a friend working on this), creating some new Desktop
wallpaper, adding any missing icons, etc. We're also going to be
updating the main site pretty soon here. Artistic help is
particularly crucial right now.

FYI, I've copied this email to the mailing list -- subscribing to
that should be the first thing you do. I'll start a thread on-list
about what visually still needs to be done, and you can say what
you'd be most interested in doing. If you'd like to send us a
portfolio or other collection of things you've done, that will help
me get a sense of your style and how you'd best fit into the project.
