What are the GNUstep Base and Gui versions installed by GNUstep Startup? I suppose you didn't use Startup to build the GNUstep repository, right? These two installation choices are explained in the last two paragraphs of the Startup README file here: <http://svn.gna.org/viewcvs/gnustep/tools/startup/trunk/README?rev=27253&view=auto > The output looks like a bug that was fixed around two weeks ago in GNUstep trunk repository. You can try to run the example attached to this bug report: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?24939> If it fails and you are using the current GNUstep Base release (stable or unstable), it would be good to report it on GNUstep bug tracker, so they can eventually do a minor release that corrects the problem. You can also try GNUstep trunk repository to see whether the issue still arises with it.
