I was going to give a talk about LanguageKit, and hopefully talk a bit about EScript / Smalltalk, and the challenges / benefits from deploying multiple languages on the same ABI. My vague mental lineup so far is: - Start with Fred talking about the history of GNUstep. If Nicolas is around, maybe make this a joint talk, 10-15 minutes about GNUstep by Fred and then 5-10 minutes about Étoilé by Nicolas. - I'll talk about LanguageKit. Probably not the same talk as FOSDEM, but I might steal a couple of slides. I was thinking of 'Modern Dynamic Language Implementation' as a title. - You talk about CO/EUI - not too heavy on the code (people will have been sitting in the room for an hour at this point, and if they want to see code they can look in svn or - better - talk to us later or on Friday), just a general overview of what they do, how they relate to each other, what is new/shiny. - Eric talks about implementing Mélodie and Photomanager and how Smalltalk / CO / EUI makes it all easier. In this way, Fred (and Nicolas?) gives a general introduction, Eric gives a conclusion, and we give some detail in the middle.
