I think it is dead. There's another implementation called ProjectManager but I 
dont think it can be a replacement. I'd stick with whatever comes with Ubuntu 
Unity.

In case anyone is interested, there's a design I dont know I will have time to 
implement as I am extremely busy with AP3/3SUM

Some bits are out of date and need more updates but the basic idea is to make a 
server/client based display system on the top of x11 with an x11 wm module to 
handle common x11 windows.
