Well.. I know at least one community called "@^&$+=?" which has a few people hanging around in the channel for years but doesn't actually do anything productive while the actual productive community members are rarely join the IRC, IMHO. And yes, my first thought was that this guys must be crazy to choose SILC but after spending some times in there it changed my opinion.
