Anybody want to come out and play on EUGLUG's behalf in the
parade?

Subject: OCF & Eugene Celebration

The theme of Eugene Celebration is NORTHWEST OF NORMAL. That's
perfect. And theme of parade is Spirits in Harmony.

I just got a call from the Oregon Country Fair's parade entry
coordinator, Andy. He says the parade route is going to be shorter
this year, making it easier to do, etc.

The OCF's theme will be a huge "Joker" puppet on wheels.... there
will be a banner in front, and behind there will be a lot of "mutant
bikes," those weird bikes at OCF, being driven around in circles.

CAT -- from Energy Park -- will help on that, of course.

And he felt a walking entry from Community Village would help frame
the end of it, sounds appropriate!

Anyway, this all lends itself to including the NORMAL FREE ZONE
BANNER. How accessible is that banner for use during the year?

AND IF ANYONE WANTS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OCF PARADE ENTRY -- THINK
ABOUT IT! Festive fool and joker looks are especially encouraged,
masks, costumes, and non-normal themes.

OCF has won prizes in the past, so let's go for it and see how we can
help out.....

Andy will get out the details later (he's going to Burning Man and
vacation). But folks can put on their thinking caps now....
