Francis, I use Slakware... No problem :) Try xf86cofig, its an ancient program for settting up X, There are newer ones... might want to check out the online documentation, and website, and ofcourse, your best bet is newsgroups, such as comp.os.linux.hardware,comp.os.linux.setup,comp.os.linux.hardware,comp.os.linux.config,... You can almost always find the answers you need in one of those (or other newsgroup). Sometimes you can get help in realtime by using IRC, (#linux, #linuxhelp).
