It'll work, but you should probably put the big stick of RAM in the
first slot. I would also find out the make of the MB and go to
crucial.com and use their database to find the right RAM-- normally
generic MBs use pretty standard stuff but some; e.g., Tyan, are
notoriously pernsnickety about RAM. crucial also has very good
prices, free 2nd day FedEx, and is a Northwest company. Plus,
they're suing Rambus over scam licensing.
And, it might be the best RAM made....
