A little bird told me that your users' group has recently contracted with EFN
for use of one of its room at their Charnelton facility.

I wanted to assure you that your group is more than welcome to join us at our
monthly meetingd at the Community Room at EWEB.

I've been presiding at the Eugene Springfield Amiga Users' Group meetings for
some years now, and I can assure you, there is great interest in Linux among
all our users.

And naturally, all the membership (I'm currently the only exception) are also
PC users, so it's not as if we're strangers to other platforms.

If I'm not mistaken, this offer has been made once already, by Gary Hale, our
President Emeritus. I believe at that time, you were meeting in one place and
holding your clinic somewhere else.

The Community Room at EWEB is a huge place, with more than enough room for all
us enthusiasts. (You've seen the place; you folks were gracious enough to
give us a demo, last year I believe, and we're still talking about it).

As we've been using this room for years, we have priority on yearly remewal of
the right to go on using it. So, as long as I continue to apply each January
for permission, the room will be set aside for us, the second Wednesday of
each month.

I hope you'll consider sharing your expertise and enthusiasm with us. You're
more than welcome. We're all in this together, to help build a microsoft-free
universe.

Best,
Mike McCool

"Did you know that on Mercury, daytime temperatures can soar to 600 degrees?"

"Yeah, but it's a DRY heat . . . "
