So... maybe Im missing something here, but what is OOo? could you provide a
weblink or some details? can I assume that its some kind of web browser? is
it a web dev tool?

We can use symlinks of course... syslogd would be a symlink to syslogp and
ftpd and ircd would be linked to ftpp and ircp... and of course the
point-to-point protocal paenguin.
