I have a Qwest DSL line (efn service) and I have no windows boxes. If the modem (be it Actiontec or Cisco) is connected via Ethernet and you have it set up as a firewall (your IP is probably 192.168.0.something), then you're all set. Just plug more machines in to the switch, or, if you don't have a switch, buy one and plug things into that. That's all it takes. - -- Joseph Carter <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Bring our troops home! <taniwha> Knghtbrd: we should do a quake episode :knee deep in the code: you run around shooting at bugs:) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) Comment: 1024D/20F62261F1857A3E79FC44F98FF7D7A3DCF9DAB3 iEYEARECAAYFAj6OHboACgkQj/fXo9z52rO/8ACfXUe2cCoCY5WeyxuJqL7YIkFj SHIAn1UUchktmv8BjpD+poEjbiXjq40s =s9J6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Eug-LUG mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.efn.org/cgi-bin/listinfo/eug-lug
