Why not just download it? Do you really need OO optimized for your p4? It's under heavy development, and new versions are released regularly forcing your emerge -u world cycle larger and larger. Gentoo broke my laptop. All of that compiling heated up the system so much, now my power adapter has melted. I'm not sure if the power adapter is broken or if the internal power supply is broken. I hope I can just replace the adapter. I do look forward to running gentoo on a blade 100.
