PSC provides innovative data-collection solutions for the retail supply
chain worldwide. Its range of products includes mobile and wireless
data-capture terminals, self-checkout systems, and fixed-position and
handheld bar code scanners.  PSC products such as Magellan 9500 and Falcon
4400 series are used to improve efficiency, speed, and agility in the
retail, and warehouse and distribution sectors. PSC has major manufacturing
facilities in Eugene, Oregon, as well as sales and service offices
throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.  

Mike is the IT manager for the Network/Operations portion of PSC and is
responsible for all the network connectivity and infrastructure that
comprises PSC worldwide.  They are primarily a Microsoft Windows and SUN
Microsystems shop with Cisco Systems being the glue that holds it all
together.  Their main ERP application is SAP with a few select SQL database
applications rounding out the bulk of the data collection and production
requirements.  PSC is currently in the midst of several significant projects
including an Active Directory global rollout and relocation of their
corporate office to Bothell Washington.  Currently there are approximately
10 employees rounding out his staff fulfilling various capacities including
engineering, helpdesk support, helpdesk administration and application
support.  At this time PSC is not taking any additional IT related
applications but as they recently emerged from Bankruptcy new opportunities
may arise.

Doors will open at 5, and the presentation will start between 5:30 
and 6:00.
