Can .php files be played in linux? If so, how?
Thanks, Dirk

You need to have mod_php installed for your webserver.

I seem to remember someone raving about a command-line PHP interpreter
a while back, but you are usually going to want to see what the page looks like when
it's rendered in the browser, and without the HTML oriented features PHP is just a subset of perl (or C).

(PHP is a programming language that is optimised for adding programmed changes to a web page
BEFORE it's sent to the browser.)
