I noticed that too... it was about 1/2 hour for me. I also woke up today to
find the internet down... took about 20 minutes, and rebooting my routers...
but then it was back.
Ive had simular problems as hal. I added some other nameservers to my
resolv.conf, and that seems to help.
I made the mistake of unplugging my modem and router last night to move
cables. After coming back up I couldn't get an IP address. After an hour
of trouble shooting I called comcast. After 20 mins of their "trouble
shooting" the support agent found out that they were doing maitenence in
my area (my area being oregon) and that the DHCP server could be down
for a while.
