Jamie,
I have a decent iron, etc. Nothing very good for surface mount, but it
does through hole components ptetty well. I don't have the connector
for the mini-coax. I'm not even sure where to find one right now. They
are kind of a niche item because they only get used for this. We might
be able to get one through Digi-key. If we want to do the hardware
thing, I'll bring my soldering tools, (iron, stand, solder, wick,
sucker) But I need to get ahold of a small bottle of flux.

I've been thinking about building one of these Altoids tin MP3 players
that we have all seen online. It might be kind of fun if a few of us
all built them. We could buy components in a batch and assemble them at
a meeting. That would also mean we could get real circuit boards spun
for us rather than using bread boards. Here's the link to the design
page. http://www.ladyada.net/make/minty/index.html Any takers?
