Sure he can, he just has to under-clock his computer down to 2.1ghz as win98
 has a cpu freq limit.

Sage advice from Dirty Harry:

A man has got to know his limitations.

I remember a few years back, I had a multi-boot box with Win 98 (or ME) / 2000/ and Linux

and I upgraded from 768 MB of RAM to 1 GB which rendered Win 9x inoperative ( unless you know how to jump through some hoops, find a knowledge base article on it if your must ).

Bahahahahaha!

*ahem* Signed int, I take it?

unsigned double long would work? is that the ansi standard? I learned 'c' from the first edition of k&r and never got into the new stuff ( but have a copy of 2nd ed ).

(If someone has a > 6 GB HD that they've declared obsolete, I can give it
a good home in a system being assembled for a new college student out of
some of my old parts and a couple of new ones that I probably wouldn't
have needed had I seen this thread two weeks ago..)

Joseph,

I have two candidates for you to consider:

an 18 GB Hard drive ( was not working last time I tried it)

and

a 26 GB Hard drive ( worked about 3 months ago )

Are you attending the meeting tomorrow?
