Well, believe it or not Larry, I kept playing around with the thing until I hit the jackpot - no, guys I didn't go to three rivers casino for this! ;) I figured if I wanted it to work, I'd keep playing with it until I got the correct magic string to work! :)

Uhm.... well that is a valid method, usually its a little easier to go to your
isp's website

and just search for the right answer...

Also, There is a feature to check what your server supports. if you know your
server supports tls or something, you can click the button to check, and if it
comes up right, you might have the right hostname.

it sounds like you need to find out the actual hostname for the service
as well as ensuring that you are connecting to it with the correct protocol

if you are supposed to be sending your mail through a given server you
can look it up with
dig @ns.example.com example.com mx

which will tell you where to send mail to.

you'll have to look through your services documentation to get the
correct magic string

Larry,

the problem is that I have is, when I put in all my relevent information
to, I keep getting a pop up that say's can't connect to host or something
around that ballpark. I know I did it right one time with efn
configuration.

But, I think I'm having trouble with either adding smtp.hostname.com or
going www.hostname.com in one of the fields in either sending or
receiving.
