Yes, Vista is really that bad. So far only five people have managed to get me to put Vista on their computers. One used it for a weekend and upgraded to XP. I've removed Vista from more machines than I've installed it on.
Now, if you get a nice quad core CPU, 4GB RAM, and a decent video card you could play Solitaire as smoothly as Windows 3.1 will play it on a 66Mhz 486.
