As noted before & elsewhere, be sure to test your recovery process or
else don't bother making backups :)
Only experience so far on the pc side has been with ghost images--and
yes, an integrity check is a nice heartache preventive. I smile when I
remember all the images I burned to the cheapest ritek dvd's I could
find--only to discover there's a reason why they're cheap.
All this was SO much simpler on the miggy side, when all you had to do
was just use a directory tool like DOpus and lharc or lzh everything on
your boot drive to another HD and then save it somewhere safe--none of
this registry rigmarole.
