Hello, The Tech Community in Corvallis is working to put together a BeaverBarCamp on March 1st. A BarCamp is an informal gathering of technical people, geeks and other interested people who get together and talk, learn and other wise explore ideas.
The Wiki for the event is at http://www.barcamp.org/BeaverBarCamp I would like to encourage you to sign yourself up for the event. I would also like to encourage you to invite other people who you think will contribute to the discussions. The results of the BarCamp are a function of what people put into the BarCamp. It will be held at Oregon State University in the new Kelley Engineering Building. If you know of companies or organizations that would like to sponsor the event, we will need help collecting the sponsors. We will also need people to sign up as volunteers so that we can organize some of the tasks and to take on some of the tasks in the task list.
