LinuxMediaLabs has been using ZoneMinder, and released R02 of their LiveCD last June... http://linuxmedialabs.com/ http://www.linuxmedialabs.com/LML_events.php http://linuxmedialabs.com/ISO/lmlzmR02.iso
I like the looks of those BlueCherry prices though! I had not heard of them. I've been thinking of [finally] building a zoneminder system, and was considering soliciting the LUG here for an interested side-group to form, to meet on weekends or a different weeknight to focus on such a project. I'd be keen to have a breadth of focus on home infrastructure, since zoneminder is not as good without a UPS and monitoring, etc. Am very interested in the video, but also in X10 gear although it appears to be almost outdated, compared to the more-recent gear... but it is more simple and sounds like it works well with ZM. :) ~ben On Feb 18, 2008 1:22 PM, Bill Essig <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Larry, zoneminder has a link on their site to the following hardware: > > http://store.bluecherry.net/SearchResults.asp?Cat=63&Click=51 > > I would assume that since it's project recommended, it's cheap and reliable. > You might cross-examine the listed products with Google Products and read > reviews.
