I like the looks of those BlueCherry prices though!  I had not heard of them.

I've been thinking of [finally] building a zoneminder system, and was
considering soliciting the LUG here for an interested side-group to
form, to meet on weekends or a different weeknight to focus on such a
project.  I'd be keen to have a breadth of focus on home
infrastructure, since zoneminder is not as good without a UPS and
monitoring, etc.  Am very interested in the video, but also in X10
gear although it appears to be almost outdated, compared to the
more-recent gear... but it is more simple and sounds like it works
well with ZM.  :)
