April SAO Monthly Meeting Features John Donovan, Director, CAMCOR
Microanalytical Facility --an ONAMI, (Oregon Nanoscience and
Microtechnologies Institute) Supported Center on the Campus of
the University of Oregon.

Eugene, OR--The Lane County Chapter of the Software Association
of Oregon (SAO) continues its new series of monthly meetings at
Symantec’s Springfield site, 555 International Way.

April’s meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 16th from 6 to 8

"Our first meeting in March attracted over 60 participants and
generated very good energy for our technology community", said
Wayne Skipper, President of Concentric Sky, Inc. and Lane Chapter
President. “We hope to build on that energy and continue our
focus on professional networking and presentations from local
technology companies and organizations”.

Giving the presentation at this month’s meeting will be John

characterization facilities to researchers at regional academic
institutions and companies; 2) foster collaborative interactions
between faculty and researchers at academic institutions and
industries throughout the northwest; and 3) provide short courses
and workshops on characterization techniques and provide hands-on
training facilities for the participants.
