Trends in Internet Security: Business Risks

Businesses are becoming increasingly dependent on Internet resources,
while threats from the Internet are increasing in number and
sophistication.  How are information security controls changing to
reflect these realities?  How can businesses most effectively 
prioritize security projects given dwindling resources and funding?

Esteban Gutierrez is currently an information security architect at a
fortune 100 company. Currently, he drives security strategy for all
aspects of enterprise connectivity to Internet.  Previously he as
worked on improving the security architecture of a global computing
environments made up of massive amounts of data and tens of thousand
of systems.

Toby Kohlenberg is a Information Security specialist, with extensive
experience in intrusion detection systems (IDS), penetration testing,
incident response, and architecture design and review.  As a member of
the Internet Storm Center's elite Handlers team, Toby helps coordinate
and track information security trends, threats, and incidents as they
develop around the world.
