They are a bit comical anyway :) There are a few robin conversions, including a few using the biggest Lynch motor. The main drawback is that adding lots of batteries tends to put them over the weight limit for a 3 wheel motorcycle. Reliant experimented with several EV concepts over the years. I don't know of a 3-wheeler although I'm sure they must have tried it. There was also a company in Canada who were planning to make a battery (or was it fuel cell) version. They did make a prototype 4-wheeled hybrid, in collaboration with Lucas. Quite nice looking, I wish I knew what happened to it. Then there was the Fox Pickups (4 wheels), a dozen or so rolling chassis were sold to the Swedish nuclear authority, and were turned into low voltage conversions. They've all been buried now, after becoming too radioactive in service! Reliant stopped making cars last year, however, a plastics company has started building a new version of the Robin.. http://pages.zoom.co.uk/robinbn1/ I have a Reliant Kitten, Paul Compton's old one, it's on the ev photo album if you're interested. Regards, Evan.
