The configuration was 1 18 wheeler, about 40' (5 car lengths) directly in front of me. ;-) I've never hit that low a power usage not drafting. On level ground I do about 7 usually on level ground. Uphill, I usually hit about 20 unladen. Downhill, I usually see negative numbers. With the trailer, downhill on a 5% grade my terminal velocity was only like 57 mph with no regen. Joe, how much would it increase the tongue weight to do what you suggest? Do you have a estimate? S.
