I don't buy this.  Banking reduces side loading on the wheels.
20+ year old cars race every week on flat and banked tracks,
and even on  off camber turns.  DeLoreans may have wheel
bearing problems, but they're not from or aggravated by the
banking of the pavement.  Maybe from overspeeding a poorly
designed, machined, or fit bearing/race.

Seems to me if someone was going to the expense of renting
a track for a demonstration, they'd make sure the chassis was
up to snuff before risking a wreck.  Or maybe they know little
about cars...
